The Tiger Sand Conch, also known as the strawberry conch or fighting conch, is a member of the family Strombidae, the true conchs.  They feed on algae or detritus and require a deep sand bed.  One should be good for most smaller aquariums, but if more are required you may see some fighting towards other males of it's own species.

Supplemental feeding may be required if there is not enough natural food in the aquarium.   Frozen food and nori are good as a substitute.

Invertebrates can be more sensitive to parameter changes than fish or coral.  High nitrate levels or sudden changes in pH or Salinity can be very harmful to inverts and may cause death.  It is recommended to do a slow acclimation process when adding new inverts to your aquarium.
